Options in Aging Care: Caring for your parents, Caring for your partner, Caring for yourself

Are you contemplating the “next step”as you age? Are you worried about a failing parent or partner? Many among us are in the “sandwich generation,” juggling care giving of our children as well as our parent(s). It can be confusing and overwhelming to know what help is needed, how t that heo getlp, and how to encourage an elder to accept help. These challenges are multiplied when you are a distant caregiver, or the situation involves mental illness or memory issues. Kathy will offer information and advice for acute situations or planning for the future— bring your questions, or (better still) email them in advance to kathy@kathykemp.com.

Care Options for The Aging Adult

If you are contemplating your own “next steps” as you age or have concerns about a failing parent or partner, the search for assistance  can seem overwhelming and confusing. Help is on the way. Kemp, a certified geriatric care manager,  will help remove your anxiety with solid information on a range of assistance for older adults and those who care for them.  Some of us juggle caregiving for both our children and our parents. Challenges multiply when you are a distant caregiver or when the situation involves mental illness or memory issues. Kemp will provide information and advice for acute situations as well as thoughtful planning for the future. Bring your questions, or email them after you register to kathy@kathykemp.com. Our discussion will be as far-reaching as your questions.
